OVERLAND PARK, Kan., September 17, 2026 – TreviPay, a global B2B payments infrastructure partner, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Bianchino as Vice President of Sales, North America, and Richard Downs as Vice President of Sales, Europe, strengthening global sales leadership as the company invests in growth.
Bianchino will focus on expanding the sales pipeline, improving forecasting accuracy and creating a more predictable and repeatable sales process. His experience working across both sides of B2B transactions will also support TreviPay’s continued expansion of its product set for buyers and sellers.
Downs will lead TreviPay’s new business sales organization across Europe and drive new market development throughout the region. His appointment comes as TreviPay has grown its European sales team fourfold over the past year and elevated regional sales leadership to the vice president level, reflecting Europe’s growing importance to the business.
“Ben and Richard bring deep B2B payments experience from different sides of the transaction, along with a track record of building sales organizations around complex enterprise needs,” said Tony Alvarez, President and Chief Business Development Officer at TreviPay. “Ben brings enterprise payments expertise in North America, while Richard has built and expanded B2B networks across Europe. Their experience will strengthen our execution in two important markets as buyer expectations and requirements like e-invoicing continue to evolve.”
Bianchino joins TreviPay with more than 13 years of experience across B2B payments, fintech and enterprise software. Most recently at Coupa, he helped scale Coupa Pay to more than $100 billion in annual payment volume while building specialized payments teams and developing strategies to increase adoption, transaction volume and revenue. Prior to Coupa, he served as Director of Business Development at Cass Information Systems and Senior Director of Business Development at Store Financial/EML Payments, where he helped launch and grow its commercial payments business to $5.23 billion in annual gross dollar volume. Earlier in his career, he held a strategic account management role at C2FO.
Downs joins TreviPay following more than 16 years with Ariba and SAP, where he held senior commercial, marketing and strategy roles tied to SAP Business Network. His experience spans e-invoicing, procure-to-pay, business networks and receivables. He helped establish Ariba’s European presence, worked on the European expansion of SAP Ariba Spot Buy and later built and ran a receivables financing business. His background gives him experience across both the payables and receivables sides of B2B commerce.
Together, the appointments give TreviPay dedicated sales leadership across North America and Europe as the company works with enterprises looking to give business buyers more choice and flexibility while simplifying the order-to-cash process.
