Taking Your Seat at the Table: International Women’s Day 2023

As a leader in product and technology, and as an advocate for helping women find growth opportunities in the industry, I made it a priority to work at an organization that shares my core values. I’ve found those values in TreviPay, especially as we celebrate International Women’s Day.

My values were built upon the backbone of my upbringing from a mother that immigrated from Italy, along with my Nonna. These important women in my life sacrificed and paved the way for our next generation to succeed. Much like the family values and work ethic that were instilled upon me growing up, TreviPay supports its employees by providing a foundation of core values to support a community built on ingenuity, empathy and tenacity

I have been with TreviPay for nearly five years. In addition to being the Director for Product & UX Design, I am also head of the Women in IT vertical for TreviPay’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) program. This year, as part of our DE&I initiative, TreviPay is proud to participate in a powerful one-day Midwest Leadership Summit on April 18 put on by the Central Exchange, a nonprofit focused on providing opportunities for women. The summit topics are focused on leadership, inclusivity and networking.

The Central Exchange event matches perfectly with TreviPay’s DE&I theme of “You Belong.” We ensure every employee feels empowered to take a seat at the table and bring others along with them – we’re stronger when we work together. This is especially important in our hybrid work organization. As leaders, we must create the same opportunities and values for our remote and in-person team members so they feel empowered to find their spot at the table and to further promote inclusivity.

So while we celebrate International Women’s Day each March, I’m proud to say the values of inclusion are present year-round at TreviPay.
